Last but not the Least

The final exams had come to an end, and irrespective of how good or bad they were, there was a huge sigh of relief amongst all of us. Year one had officially come to an end and we had just a few more days at Aston before we once again took off for the summer holidays to our respective homes. I guess, as always, the best way to spend the last few days was to spend as much time with the people you wont be seeing for a while. Unlike many of my flatmates, I had decided to move in with two other friends into the heights accommodation for the second year, while some were going to continue to stay on campus and others move into places like aston brook green or canal side. Well, the point being, the flat was being split up which came as a bit of a shock to all of us, as we had lived with each other for an entire year and not seeing each other's faces every morning and night was going to be a bit unusual. Well, as they say, all good things in life do come to an end, and all you could do is face it with as much courage as possible and move on. During the last few days, more than partying, most of us were lost in nostalgia and were reminiscing for most part of the day. The whole of the first year had passed before we knew it. Aston was just beginning to digest in our systems, when it was already time to pack our bags and head to the place we called home. Felt more like we were going away from home!
